THEY DIDNT DIE ALONE
God bless the home front, the land of the free
Make it safe for our people; we put our trust in thee
The times they have been changing, just like Bob Dylan once said
By a foreign hand, a terrorist band,
N.Y.C streets ran Red
The heartland of America also bleeds today
There are loved ones who are missing, suddenly taken away
Heroes who gave their lives, without a thought for their own
Wish there had been time to tell them we loved them,
and that they didn't die alone
Stand strong my brothers who have seen blood shed before
Help those around you, comfort, reassure
This ain't the battlefield, and this ain't Viet Nam
This is America,
we gotta protect her from harm
From the skies came the terror that rocked the whole world
Shook the stars on Old Glory, but now the red white and blue is unfurled
United together for the first time in years
Our nation looks different...
through eyes filled with tears
The times they are a changin', the Star Spangled Banners being sung
We just wanna let the world know we are freedoms daughters and sons
We don't buckle in the hard times; these colors will not run
Our liberty often shines brightest
after the setting of the Sun
And the heart land of America still bleeds today
Our loved ones are missing, suddenly taken away
Heroes gave their lives without a thought for their own
Wish there had been time to tell them,
They didn't die alone
Wish there had been time to tell them
they didn't die alone...

TO MAKE AN EAGLE CRY
What does it take to make an Eagle cry?
Unmerciful destruction of American lives.
Unknowing and working, to keep America free
Loved ones taken without warning so violently.
Yes, there was time for some to say goodbye.
Heartbreaking messages, tearful cries,
The loss of children, Moms and Dads
Separated forever, my God,
... MY GOD...
how terribly sad.
There will be certain retribution made
and by this loss of life, many will be saved.
Our honor demands that justice be done
The down payment of this war,
... PAID...
by Americas innocent Daughters and Sons

Being an old Soldier, from a bygone war; One not so popular, but even so my heart now soars at the unity and resolve and the resurrection of pride in the Red, White and Blue flown half mast in our skies
... I BELIEVE ...
there is a greater power than an Eagle, with tears in His eyes. No, He can't be seen but He has always been nearby, and perhaps He is saddened that we have taken so long to lift up our eyes and prayers and sung unto Him the long forgotten songs.
But no need to fear, Gods grace still stands. And He holds those unmercifully taken forever in his hands; And His love never fails nor will it ever canker or rust.
... Because America ...
Our blessed America, was built on the principle of,
.... In God we trust ....
"United we stand; Divided we fall"
... GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS ....
