Janet, no middle initial, is the middle child of six siblings. She lives in Pittsburgh, PA with her husband of 30 years, Bernie, who was stationed in Korat, Thailand during the latter years of his service in the U.S. Air Force (1966-1969).
In February 2004, Janet retired after working in an educational media library for the past 35 years. She holds a special fondness for all veterans in her heart and appreciates everything they have done. Belonging to the Viet Nam Veterans, Inc. of Pittsburgh has given her an opportunity to become involved with the veterans. Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice are inspirations for her.
In her spare time Janet loves to write and counts singing in her church choir, cooking, baking and being a "special aunt" to her 20+ nieces and nephews among her other interests.
