DILLY-DALLY

When wring poems I used to dilly,
But decided just now that was too silly
And after I dillied I often then dallied, gee
What laziness once washed over me.

So my dallying-dallying days are through
And I dedicate this poem to you
For helping me to see the sweet light
And encouraging me to write poems right

Dilly-dallying – well it’s for fools,
A fact that they should teach at schools
For time is such a valuable commodity
And comes alas in a limited quantity…
