Natural Grandeur: Glacier National Part, MontanaSPRING IN THE MOUNTAINS
High above the ragged peaks
The majestic eagle flies
With ease he floats like a cloud
In the blue Montana skies
The cold rivers of melted snow
cascade over magnificent falls
They echo down the mountain
And off the canyon walls
A bright array of mountain flowers
Creates a beautiful bouquet
And along with the firs and pines
Puts nature on display
A grizzly stands and sniffs the wind
Her long winter sleep now done
Elk graze in the meadows
While chipmunks frolic in the sun
The falls, flowers, creatures and trees
Is a picture of nature so grand
The beauty of spring in the mountains
Was created by the Master’s hand
